Posted by A man is dead after being struck by a train.
The Brantford police, fire department and paramedics responded to a call about a collision near Usher Street just before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The emergency responders found a man who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Brantford police traffic section and criminal investigation section are currently working with CN Police to investigate the incident.
Police have yet to identify the individual at this time and have no additional information.
Police ask that members of the public stay out of the area at this time.
