Brantford police investigating armed convenience store robbery in Eagle Place

Brantford police are searching for two suspects after the armed robbery of a convenience store in Eagle Place on Friday morning. 

At around 4 a.m. on Sept. 11, officers responded to a 911 call about the robbery at a store on Erie Avenue near the corner of Gladstone Avenue. 

Police learned that two males wearing face coverings and carrying firearms demanded money from a clerk. 

The two men took an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene of the crime in a white van, possibly a Dodge Caravan, which may have been stolen earlier in the day. 

No one in the store at the time of the robbery was hurt. 

One suspect was of average height and build with short dark hair. He wore a black hoodie with a white decal, blue jeans and a blue medical mask.

The other suspect is of a similar build and height and also wore a black hoodie with a white decal, as well as a black rimmed hat with a red beak and grey sweat pants. He also wore a blue bandana to hide his face and carried a blue and orange backpack.
