Police have arrested and charged two more people in connection with the murders of Dorothy Lynn VanEvery and Larry Reynolds in the summer of 2019.
The Ontario Provincial Police’s criminal investigative branch and Brantford Police Service announced Wednesday morning that 30-year-old Nathan Lloyd Holmes of Brantford and Malik Mbuyi, 19, of Toronto both each face two counts of first-degree murder.
VanEvery, 62, and Reynolds, 64, were found deceased in their home on Park Road South in Brantford on July 18, 2019.
On March 24, 2020, Kareem Zedan, 22, of Pickering was also charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He was arrested in Thunder Bay.
Howes is due to appear in court by video on Sept. 28, while Mbuyi is set to appear in court on Sept. 25.
The OPP has been engaged in a joint investigation with Brantford Police Service under the direction of the OPP criminal investigation branch.
