Brantford police are investigating a hate crime targeting the Greenwich Street mosque.
Police say that on Sunday, Oct. 21 at approximately 2:20 a.m., two unknown suspects attended the Brantford Mosque located at 192 Greenwich St. The suspects spray painted the walls of the mosque and the parking lot with hateful remarks and symbols directed at members of the Muslim faith.
The two suspects appear to be young males of average height and slim build. Both
males were wearing long pants, hoodies and carrying backpacks. The one suspect has a picture of a bull’s head on the front of his hoodie.
The Brantford Police Service is taking this incident very seriously and are seeking the
public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals who are responsible.
