Brantford police are hoping witnesses to a stabbing in the north end of the city will come forward to help them apprehend the attacker.
On Tuesday, May 1 just after 7 p.m., officers arrived at the scene of a reported stabbing near Dundson Street and Brantwood Park Road, where a 19-year-old male victim was found.
The officers learned the suspect had fled the scene.
Paramedics treated and took the victim to a hospital, where he remains in serous but stable condition.
Brantford police detectives from the major crime unit continue to investigate the stabbing. They are asking for any witnesses to the incident or anyone who might have seen something or someone connected to the stabbing to contact them.
