A Brantford man faces a Highway Traffic Act charge after his vehicle crashed and rolled over.
On Thursday at 10:43 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant Detachment, County of Brant Fire Department along with County of Brant EMS responded to a single vehicle collision at a Highway 24 North location.
The vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 24 North near Glen Morris Road East when the driver crossed over into the northbound lanes, entered the east ditch and then came back up onto the roadway when the vehicle rolled over onto its roof coming to rest in the southbound lanes.
As a result, the 30-year-old driver of Brantford, Ontario, suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital for further assessment.
The driver was subsequently charged with careless driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and was issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
