The major crimes unit of the Brantford Police Service is investigating along with the Office of the Chief Coroner after the remains of a body believed to be human were discovered in the Glenwood Drive area of Brantford, near Mohawk Park in the city’s southeast.
While officers and a coroner investigate, the police are asking the public to avoid the area.
A post-mortem examination of the remains will be scheduled. Until the exam is complete, the police will be unable to provide further information about the remains.
