OPP investigate mischief to Paris war memorial

The County of Brant OPP is looking into who put graffiti in the the Cenotaph in downtown Paris, Ontario.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to the Paris Cenotaph in the County of Brant on Sunday, April 12, at approximately 9:15 p.m. because of mischief to the property.

OPP investigators attended and discovered that unknown person(s) attended the cenotaph located at the corner of Grand River Street North and Mechanic Street and used markers to put numerous graffiti tags on several locations within the cenotaph.

The County of Brant OPP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in the incident. Anyone with information can call the County of Brant OPP criminal investigations unit at 1-888-310-1122
