Police are investigating what happened after a man was stabbed off Dalhousie Street in Brantford last night.
Several police officers were at the scene near the intersection of Queen Street around midnight. A part of the sidewalk beside the Expositor Place building was cordoned off with yellow tape. Const. Shane Seibert said the call about the incident came in at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
At the scene police and paramedics assisted a man who suffered a stab wound. He was sent to a hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
Seibert said officers are still investigating the incident.
