The County of Brant Fire Department, Office of the Fire Marshal and OPP are investigating a suspicious barn fire on Jerseyville Road.
Firefighters, police officers and paramedics responded to the fire east of Brantford on June 5, 2019 at approximately 4:25 a.m.
On the property, a barn and a truck were completely destroyed by the fire, which also killed four pygmy goats.
The fire has been deemed suspicious and is being investigation as a crime by the County of Brant Fire Department, the OPP and Ontario’s Office of the Fire Marshal.
Because of the suspicious nature of the fire, the OPP are asking for the assistance of the public in locating witnesses and suspects. If you were in the area of Jerseyville Road in the County of Brant and saw any suspicious people or vehicles, please call the OPP.
