Brantford Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspicious male.
On Tuesday, at approximately 5:45 p.m. near Brantwood Park Road and Trotter Lane, an unknown man driving a small silver or grey SUV with a loud muffler stopped and spoke to a group of kids.
The unknown male spoke to the kids aged 8 to 12 briefly until an adult came out of a house and the male drove away. The suspect male is described as white, in his 30s, with very short hair and wearing sunglasses.
The Brantford Police Service is asking the public for their assistance in identifying this unknown male and vehicle and to be aware of the incident.
The police remind parents to talk to your kids and teach them to trust their instincts. If they feel they are being followed or someone they don’t know stops to talk to them or something isn’t right, seek help immediately. You can speak to a parent, older sibling, neighbour, teacher, coach or a police officer.
