Posted by A dump truck driver is in hospital after a collision on Highway 2 near Puttown Road in the County of Brant this morning.
The driver of a truck fully loaded with steel walked away with only minor injuries. The dump truck sustained heavy damage. There are charges pending against the dump truck driver.
Constable Ed Sanchuk said the driver is fortunate the collision was not fatal.
Traffic will be delayed for several hours while technical collision investigators go over the scene. Commercial vehicle inspectors are also at the scene.
