Brantford police have charged a man with sexual assaults dating back up to 35 years.
In the fall of 2018, the Brantford Police Service began an investigation into a complaint of a historical sexual assault that involved a male teenager.
The investigation identified numerous male victims who were youths at the time of the incidents.
The victims have identified the same Brantford man, who is now 55, as the offender.
The youths claim the accused befriended them at different points between 1980 and 2015.
The accused is said to have provided them with drugs and alcohol, then allegedly engaging in sexual activities with them.
The sexual assaults are believed to have happened when the victims were between the ages of 12 and 17 years old. One of the incidents occurred as long as 35 years ago.
As a result of the police investigation, a 55-year-old male from Brantford has been charged with 15 Criminal Code offences including indecent assault on a male, procuring, sexual assault, assault, threatening and uttering threats.
