Brantford Police are once again looking to identify a second suspect in a Colborne Street shooting last week after finding the person they seek was misidentified.
“It has been determined that a male who had earlier been linked as a suspect to the shooting, Isaiah Castillo, 19 years old, is not a suspect in this investigation.”
The major crime unit continues to investigate the shooting that took place on Friday, March 22 at approximately 1 p.m. in the area of Colborne Street and Park Avenue.
Another suspect, Keyshawn Commissiong,19, remains on the lam.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance again with information in regards to the second suspect who is described as a non-white male, 5’7”-5’9”, with a medium build, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with pink detail, a dark hoodie, dark baseball hat, blue jeans, and black running shoes with white soles.
Anyone who has information about the suspects or who sees the suspect males is urged to contact police or 911. Do not approach the suspects as they may be in possession of a firearm.
