Posted by Brant OPP and Brantford Police Service surrounded a house in Eagle Place Monday night in pursuit of a suspect.
Close to a dozen cruisers were parked along River Road between Baldwin Avenue and Marlene Avenue after 1 a.m. and remained there as of 2:07 a.m.
An officer said they were looking to apprehend a male suspect believed to be in a house nearby, and said there is no danger to the public.
Constable Shane Siebert said the officers were after a suspect in the case of a stolen vehicle was seen in the area. The investigation is ongoing.
