A man faces several criminal offences after a two-vehicle collision in Brantford late Wednesday night.
Brantford police traffic officers spent hours investigating on Park Road South, which was closed between Colborne Street and Glenwood Drive. A 21-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm and over 80 milligrams causing bodily harm.
At approximately 10 p.m., officers, paramedics and Brantford Fire attended the scene.
Investigators learned a southbound Honda Civic had been driven by a man with two passengers, a 17-year–old female and a 18-year–old female when it collided with a second vehicle, a Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 70–year–old Brantford male.
As a result of the collision one female passenger seated in the back seat of the Honda was transported to a Hamilton Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other three parties involved in this collision were all transported to the Brantford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say all the injured have since been released from hospital.
The Brantford Police Service collision reconstruction unit is leading this investigation. Witnesses are requested to contact Constable Mark Baxter of the Brantford Police traffic unit at 519-756-0113 ext 2212 or email@example.com.
