Crash victim identified as Brantford man

A Brantford man has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle collision Tuesday on Colborne Street West.

Brant OPP officers responded to a call about a collision, along with the fire department and paramedics, at 2:55 p.m.

The driver and only occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Paul Colby, 63, of Brantford. 

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Colborne Street West between Oakhill Drive and Highway 24 in the County of Brant was closed for the investigation until approximately 7:30 p.m.
