Threat to high school investigated by Brantford Police

Brantford police are investigating a threat made against Brantford Collegiate Institute.

On Wednesday at around 2:30 p.m., the Branford Police Service began an investigation into an incident at the high school on Brant Avenue. The school received an anonymous phone call posing a threat to the school. 

Brantford police responded to the school, which was still occupied by students and staff. The school was placed in a hold and secure while officers investigated and evacuated the occupants to a safe location. 

Brantford Police Service says it “takes these types of incident very seriously.  This incident will be fully investigated and appropriate charges will be filed if applicable.
