Brant OPP seek suspects in Burford jewelry store robbery

Brant County OPP is investigating a jewelry store robbery in Burford.

Police responded to a report of a robbery at a King Street jewelry store. at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25. 

Investigators learned that two unknown males attended Harris Jeweller at 123 King St. in Burford in the County of Brant. Once inside the store, the first suspect smashed the display cases with a tool and the second suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

None of the store employees were hurt during the robbery.

Both suspects were described as:

  • male 
  • thin build
  • average height
  • wearing dark coloured clothing, hoodies and gloves

The suspects fled the business and entered a dark coloured pickup truck parked in front of the store with a third suspect driving.

The County of Brant OPP are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the suspects involved in the incident. Anyone with information can call the County of Brant OPP criminal investigations unit at 1-888-310-1122.
