The Ontario Provincial Police’s Brant County detachment is investigating a two-vehicle collision on Governors Road.
On Sunday, Sept. 30 at 6:36 p.m., OPP, fire services and paramedics responded to Governors Road, east of St. George Road for a two-vehicle collision where it was reported both drivers were seriously injured and one of the drivers were trapped in their vehicle.
OPP investigators have determined that one vehicle was travelling east on Governors Road when it collided with another vehicle that was travelling west on Governors Road.
Both drivers were transported by paramedics to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but the OPP now say the drivers will live.
There were no other occupants in the vehicles.
The OPP traffic collision investigation (TCI) unit is attending to assist with the investigation.
Governors Road between St. George Road and Bethel Church Road was reopened at 10:01 p.m.
