Brant County Ontario Provincial Police is looking for a man accused of violently robbing a gas station.
The OPP responded to a call regarding a robbery with violence at approximately 1 a.m.at a gas station on Sept. 16, 2018.
County of Brant OPP members attended Pioneer Petroleum located at 178 Brant Rd. along with members of the West Region criminal investigations unit.
Police learned a man entered the business when an employee was distracted and stole a quantity of cigarettes. The employee returned, an altercation occurred and the suspect fled the area in an older model grey four-door sedan.
The male suspect was wearing a black New York Yankees baseball cap, white t-shirt, beige work boots and dark pants. He is described as a white male approximately six feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, and with a dark beard
