Brant County OPP is hoping someone can help identify suspects and a vehicle in a daytime break and enter in Burford.
Police officers responded to a call at a Maple Avenue North resident after 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22. The investigation revealed three people arrived at the property around 2 p.m. that day driving a blue Dodge Dakota (see below) before trying to break into a locked storage container.
The thieves stole a 12-volt tractor trailer battery, worth about $200, before being scared off by the homeowner.
The OPP would like to talk to anyone who was in the area and may have seen these suspicious people or the blue Dodge Dakota.
Anyone with information regarding this or any other incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave a message at www.crimestoppers-brant.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
