A business employee on Dalhousie Street in Brantford was no doubt wishing she had stayed inside on Sunday after a man with a knife followed her.
The woman had been working outside the business shortly before 4 p.m. when a suspicious man followed her back into the store. The man pulled out a knife.
The employee tried to convince the man to put the knife away. He eventually left the business with causing any further problems.
Brantford police officers responded to a call about the man with the knife. He was found and arrested nearby. An investigation revealed the accused is bound by a court order with conditions. The 48-year-old Brantford man was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
