Posted by As detectives continue to investigate a fatal incident on Thursday, Brantford police have released the age of the male victim.
The victim was 52 years old and from Brantford. He was found inside a strip mall business unit at 50 Roy Blvd. after 2 a.m. on May 3.
A 19-year-old male was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder and breach of probation.
On May 4, a coroner conducted a post-mortem examination of the body, but police say they are not ready to positively identify the deceased man.
Detectives believe the murder happened as a result of a domestic situation.
