Posted by Brantford police attempted to find a man suspected of breaking into homes on Thursday.
Several police cruisers were stationed around a northeast part of Eagle Place around 1 p.m. on March 29. A police spokesperson said the officers were looking for a man caught trying to break into a home, something he is suspected of doing more than once that day.
The suspect was scared off by a homeowner, according to Const. Shane Siebert. Officers set up around the area at strategic points in an attempt to contain the suspect and locate him. Siebert said officers were unable to find the man.
So far, a description of the suspect has not been available.
