Brant man charged in Robert Waite murder

A 50-year-old County of Brant man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Robert Waite.
On Wednesday, County of Brant OPP arrested James Bamsey and charged him.
Waite, 69, was found unresponsive at this business, Diamond Towing on Papple Road in the community of Cainesville, on Wednesday, March 1 at 2:57 p.m.
A post-mortem examination of his body found his death was the result of homicide.
Detectives from the County of Brant OPP detachment, under the direction of Detective Staff Sgt. Scott Moore, of the OPP’s criminal investigation branch continued to investigate the homicide.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
